Step 1: Add warehouse address (Required)

This step sets up how orders are fulfilled and returned. You need to determine your shipping and return addresses. What you need to do
  1. Go to Add warehouse address
  2. Review the recommended address
    • This is usually the address you entered during registration
  3. Choose:
    • Use this address if your products ship from there, or
    • Add new address if you ship from a different location
After you confirm the address, TikTok Shop creates your warehouse and automatically checks how shipping should be set up for your shop.

What happens nextAfter your warehouse is created, TikTok Shop checks whether shipping is ready to use or if additional setup is required.
  • If shipping is ready → continue to Add product
  • If additional setup is required → you’ll be guided to complete shipping setup before listing products
This depends on your warehouse location and local shipping requirements.
How shipping is handledTikTok Shop automatically selects a shipping method for you:
  • 4PL (Shipped via Platform):
TikTok Shop manages shipping for you. No shipping setup is needed.
  • 3PL (Shipped by Seller):
You manage shipping yourself by setting up carriers and shipping templates.
This is why some sellers can start selling immediately, while others need to complete one extra step.
